We’re delighted you’ve chosen our stylish 2-bedroom loft apartment on the 2nd floor of 19 Granville Road, right in the heart of beautiful Broadstairs. Whether you’re here for a relaxing beach break, family time, or exploring the Kent coast, we hope you have a wonderful stay.

The apartment has been finished to a high standard with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Viking Bay beach is just a short walk away, and the town centre with its independent cafés, pubs and shops is on your doorstep.

To ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe stay, we kindly ask you to follow these simple rules:

  • No smoking or vaping inside the property.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Please respect neighbours — keep noise to a reasonable level, especially after 10 pm.
  • Do not use the bunk beds for more than the intended number of guests.
  • Please do not move furniture.
  • Report any damage or issues immediately.
  • Please recycle and use the bins provided.
  • No parties or events without prior written permission.

Heating & Hot Water The property has gas central heating. The thermostat is located in the living area. Please do not adjust the boiler settings.

Your safety is very important to us. The property has been equipped with the following safety equipment:

Fire Safety Equipment Provided:

  • Fire blanket and fire extinguisher in the apartment
  • Additional fire blanket and extinguisher located in the hallway on every floor
  • First aid kit(s) available in the property

Smoke & Heat Alarms Working smoke alarms are fitted throughout (including bedrooms and hallway). A heat alarm is fitted in the kitchen area. These are tested regularly.

 

In the Event of a Fire:

  1. Evacuate the property immediately using the stairs.
  2. Do not use the lift (if applicable).
  3. Close doors behind you if safe to do so.
  4. Call 999 as soon as you are safe.
  5. Only attempt to tackle a small fire if it is safe and you have been trained — otherwise evacuate.

General Safety Tips

  • Please keep exits and hallways clear.
  • Never leave cooking unattended.
  • Use the fire blanket for small kitchen fires (chip pan, etc.).
  • First aid kits are provided — please use them for minor injuries and let us know if anything is used.

  • Botany Bay – Stunning white chalk cliffs and rock pools. Great for fossil hunting and photos.
  • Joss Bay – Popular with surfers and families.
  • Charles Dickens connections – The town has strong links with the famous author.
